Does anyone know (maybe some of the boards employees to be?) if Forver 21 will be offering a personal shopper service?
    tia.

it sure is a good idea but i wouldnt be able to give a definite answer or any of the others couldnt either :P

why do you ask ?? never really understood the point of a personal shopper :P

I would see their role as being able to put together looks for a person based on their figure, budget, occasion/lifestyle with a certain flair that the shopper (ie. me!) might not have.
Particularly in shops where there is a lot of choice I just get bamboozled!

imo i think a normal sales/fashion advisor should be abl to help you out anyway , i have often spent nearly half of my shift helping customers pick out outfits:) but do you want them just to help you ??

I'd have no qualms asking a sales assistant to help me find a nice pair of jeans or something specific but maybe not to put together an outfit...am I wrong? I would have thought that would be a bit much to ask.
I'll come look for you in Forever21:D

not at all tbh , :D thats what our job is , like if were working in a fashion retailer , we arent just there to fold cloths and size jeans :) :P i would have no problem with helping anyone with a outfit if they asked me , thats what i love to do , thats why i want to work in fashion retail :D

I don't think it's too much to ask of any sales assistant, though some may not be able to give you the advice you're looking for or have the knowledge. If you're getting bad vibes just say thanks and continue shopping. I'm a sales assistant and have often spent 40 minutes or more with customers getting them clothes and taking in options for the fitting room, have even dressed some head to toe for weddings.

If you want help from a store that doesn't offer personal shoppers I'd advise going in early on a weekday morning. The staff will be the full timers (so more product knowledge) and won't be too busy to give you full attention.

TBH I worked in retail for 4+ years, I used to love when a customer would ask me to help them pick out an outfit or ask for help in general, its exactly what I was in work to do.

Well, firstly it's not a great idea to post your phone number on the Internet. Your post has been edited to remove it.

Secondly, Boards.ie is not an advertising space. Please contact reps@boards.ie if you are interested in posting in a professional, work based capacity.

Thirdly, users may not take kindly to you calling them by their "real world" name online.
