Does anyone know how arts is graded in NUIG. Is it that 2nd year is it that 2nd and 3rd year are both worth 50 percent each or is it which year you do better in?
    Thanks in advance.

It would be great if the best year counted but probably unlikely.

I don't know if it's a rule but i know that in French they take your best average, either second or third year.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they average your grades for 2nd and 3rd year together, unless you'd have gotten a higher grade if they only count 3rd year. If that's the case, it's what they do!

If you got a higher grade in 2nd year than 3rd year they average it.

If your third year grade is higher than the 2nd year grade only the 3rd year grade is counted.
