    Mark McKnight - Guitar
    Seamus Blake - Saxophone
    Ross Stanley - Hammond Organ
    James Maddren - Drums

"The future of Irish jazz guitar.” Irish Times on Mark McKnight

“Extraordinary, a total saxophonist.” John Scofield on Seamus Blake

The last 12 months have, amongst other things, seen Mark McKnight named “Best Young Irish Musician” Cork Jazz Festival 2009, represent Ireland at the 12 Points Festival 2010 (Norway) and the UK in the European Jazz Orchestra 2010, as well as complete 2 UK/Ireland tours of his own projects. October 2010 sees the return of one of the latter as the MMcK Organ Quartet hits the road, this time featuring NYC based Canadian saxophonist Seamus Blake.

The group's material is comprised of both McKnight's original compositions and his interpretations of the standard repertoire. Expect high energy, melodically focused music.

"The instrumentation has been familiar for decades – guitar, Hammond organ, alto saxophone and drums – but the sound here is individual." **** Glasgow Herald
