    Hi

I've got a loose coal effect gas fire in the sitting room but we are tied to a particular provider and I'm finding it very expensive to use.

Would anyone be able to advise me the rough cost of disconnecting one of these fires (by an appropriately registered person)?

    Thanks

Usually between €80 and €100 to disconnect and make safe. I usually do a spillage test on the chimney while I at it and depending on how often it was used I would advise on getting the chimney swept.

Make sure they are RGII and have appropriate experiance.
