Refund on Old Gas Bottles

Does any one know if you can get the deposit back on an old gas bottle? When you buy the first one, its always way more expensive, as they say there is a deposit on it. So when you go to get another one, the price is then only about 30 euros. But I have an empty one I dont need any more. Can I get any money back for it, ie…
