    Hey lads just thinking of upgrading my pistol to a full metal version.what would ye think would make a difference to recoil this is the 1 im thinking of getting bell-eg723-m1911 i have the same 1 but its full plastic.

    Pros:
    Harder kick
    Nicer weight
    Robust
    Can be used as a tactical hammer

    Cons:
    Harder kick means using more gas = less shots to a fill.
    Metal conducts easily = cold weather, shíte performance.
    Metal means heavy = it's gonna add that bit more weight to your kit.

    That sounds sorta right...

    More or less, just make sure you oil the slide and mags and all that. A bit of oil does a world of good!
