Using MyPhoneexlorer with a Sony Ericsson I can see Cell ID/LAC, this provides a decimal 4 digit number and a 8 digit Hex number with 5 digits used.

Is there any way to correlate this information with the Comreg map of masts or anything similar?

You could use comreg's site viewer. It gives the cell ID but not the LAC. That shouldn't be a problem though, LAC stands for location area code so it's unlikely that there'd be two cells in the same area with the same CID. So just zoom into your area and look for the CID
