    hi. Anyone out there no what this is all about? I have an essay to do on it. I googled it but came up with very little...even a definition would be great. Thanks

    If you're in UCD, what they want you to do is mention the Teaching Council's Code of Professional Conduct, compare it favourably to the other, older literature they've given you from England/America (because the Irish system is soooo perfect, ya know), and back up your argument with reference to your own experience as a teaching professional working in Ireland. This is a paraphrase of the feedback I was given on what I had done in the assignment (which involved comparing the Irish system UNfavourably with the old American reading material!). In other words, flattery of what UCD is 'offering' you is the way to go in all the assignments, not just this one. Hope that helps!
