Anyone intrested in starting a band in Waterford
Last ventures went belly up(Musical Differences) and can't be wasting time Doing nothing

I am 22,Playing four years and have no long term plans at moment so free to do whatever/whenever needed

Bit a genre chameleon so i fit into most styles but would be looking to join/start a Post Britpop/Pop/New Prog/Alt Rock Band
Mainly a Rythym/Lead guitar Player but i am able play other instruments
Infulences are U2,Coldplay,Killers,Snow Patrol,Radiohead,The Smiths,REM,Doves,The Beatles( i could carry on but i'd be all day)
Style of playing is simple but effective(Rythym Techniques With Simple or complex Lead Lines,I only play solos if i feel they are necessary)
Gear is a bit S**t at moment(never really upgraded) but don't judge me on that alone,should have problem fixed by end of the year if not sooner

Would you be interested in having a jam with a band. We were gigging but had to split with our guitarist a while ago. Nothing too serious, just enjoying the music. We are based in Waterford city.

might be intrested lads, just need to know a few things first
things like what's your genre, what music do u listen to , what style musicians are u(drums, bass ,etc),
where do u see yourself in 5 years(ha ha:D)

Lads I play drums in the band. We were called Diamond Joe and we only played a few gigs around Waterford before we took a break. Due to family/work commitments etc we dont see ourselves actively gigging until April or May next year but we do want to get back to jamming and rehearsing as soon as possible.
We play and listen to all sorts of stuff. Rock would be the closest overall description. Our set list is under constant review so we are not stuck on playing anything.
We are all boring farts so in five years time I see us doing the exact same thing only slower!
