ipod decks/mixer?

anyone have one of these as thinkign of getting one where you can put 2 ipods either side with a mixer. are they good and how much are they thanks?

actually that looks ncie wonder what the price on it is and how you pick the tracks from the 1 ipod.

there a few demo videos that go through how you select the tracks.

google it up.
think its around 300 or so

to be honest id stick with the updated versions.itll be easier t get rid of the current version if you wanted to sell it.

plus you only need 1 ipod with the newer versions

ya thats true is the idj 3 even released yet i can get the idj 2 for around 200 euro online?

thanks sean thats actualy a very good price for it watched a demo on youtube you can create your on recordings through the ipod aswell.

I have a set of kams at home cd turntable and mixer and 3 cd cases so was thinking of holding onto my amp and speakers hook up a ipod mixer and it be such a easier handier set up too.

hi supersonic, just wondering if you bought the idj 2/3, i am going to buy one myself, i have done tonns of research, i'm looking @ a second hand one which i think is a bit pricey @ € 400 incl case and keyboard,

especially when the 3 is $400, were abouts did u see the idj2 for 200, they are difficult enough to source in ireland.

on ebay.ie man or .com not sure im waiting for the idj 3 to come out as it drive down the idj 2 price then again when it comes out money depending i might be able to afford it they are pricey tho.

The idj3 lacks function compared to v2 and builds on being a semi bastardized hybrid thing .. I saw a review and there was only single deck play .. And no pitch control with record which kinda defeats the purpose .

The v2 @ 200 seems like a steal if iPod only is gonna be your medium of choice. Plays music +vids + pitch . Imho If they had midi'd it up it would have been bloody brill unit.

I wouldn't touch the dual iPod dj players which are all based on the v1 require 2 iPods and have no pitch control ..

Of course at this stage an iPad is probably as good on it's own with an app with no need for any external hardware at near the same price ?
