    Hi I was thinking of starting BJJ in the Boxing Clinic and I was wondering if anyone who has been to the classes could let me know what there like thanks.

    I go there. I do the gi and no-gi classes. The instructor is a guy called kieran obrien (purple belt). The gi classes are small with usually only 4 to 6 guys or less showing up regularly but the no-gi classes can be busy enough with up to 12 or so depending on whats happening (guys getting ready for MMA leagues, etc).

    I looked around before settling with the boxing clinic but it was where I felt most welcomed and the fact that I was a complete beginner was no problem at all.

    kieran is very good, he takes his time to break all the moves down and spends time with you if you are having trouble completing them. he also teaches with another club in little island (i'll try and rememeber the name). drop me a PM if want anything more specific.
