Good Value Hairdressers Dublin

I know you're probably sick to death of these kind of theads but need some help. I've a general fear of going to the hairdressers since I was a kid due to a particularly traumatic experience. I also get easily intimidated and hate when they are trying to force something beyond what I asked for or are overly chatty or obnoxious.

In short I just want a place that is value for money, will do a proper job (no where too fancy but doesn't look like a sh!thole either) and listen to what I want while not keeping me in there half a day either.

Does such a mythic place exist?

(I know I might be asking for a lot but you try and deal with unexpected boy-like hair as a preteen girl and not have any issues.)
