Amazon browsing history

Hello ,with christmas coming and the amazon browsing getting into full effect.
Was wondering if there is anyway of clearing amazon browsing history ,so only my history is visible when I log into my amazon account.

Occasionally I log into my amazon account elsewhere and it's annoying when people can see my viewing history ,even when I'm not logged in and the browser history is gone.

Its actually putting me off using amazon at home ,elseswhere might see a pop-up of the account history:confused:

Any advice on this is appreciated ,
    Thanks.

Go to amazon and sign in, on homepage where the similar items to the ones you searched for show up there is a link underneath that saying view or edit your browsing history, click that and on the left there is a bit to delete your search history and a button to turn off your browsing history

Just noticed that ,even though I turned off browsing history last night. For some reason my history was still available at this other machine today:(

So it looks like amazon has an i.p. recording of your history and you have to turn off history individually.

    Have to be more careful.:p

Is that on a second computer? Do you use internet explorer?

I'm using firefox on both machines , hopefully I'll get the hang of the history option.

When I logged onto my account on the other computer ,I had to choose no browsing history again.
