My account says that I have BB access until 15th October. (today) and also have nearly 6GB unused data.

I topped up my account during the week by €20 balance €22 in order to purchase a 30days pass tomorrow.

But Meteor have today automatically taken the cost of a days pass €3 out of my account leaving a balance of €19.07 and now I don't have enough cash to purchase a €20....30day pass.

    1. Does until the 15th include the 15th. (it did last month)
    2. Have they the right to take the cost of a €3... days pass out of my account without seeking my permission first or giving any warning message.

They have allready told me on their forum that a pass expires at 23:59pm

That's why I never ever put money into my Meteor account in advance, the 'opt-in' for the day pass kicks in if you connect and a single byte of data goes up or down to the ISP. Day Pass..

Never connect when\before topping up. You must have. Always top up through the SMS screen without being connected, if that makes sense.

I got caught out at odd times of the night with this (2am).. with exactly the same circumstances as yourself. Very annoying.

I would say no, they can't charge you for a day pass unless you requested it. As such, tell them (don't ask) to refund your €3 immediately. If you've been in contact with them through their forum already then that's probably the best place to start. If that fails, try ringing them.
