EDIT: KO is 3pm Irish time.

    BIARRITZ:
    15. Dane Haylett-Petty, 14. Takudzwa Ngwenya, 13. Charles Gimenez, 12. Michael Bond, 11. Iain Balshaw, 10. Julien Peyrelongue, 9. Dimitri Yachvili,
    1. Eduard Coetzee, 2. Benoit August, 3. Campbell Johnstone, 4. Jérôme Thion, 5. Erik Lund, 6. Magnus Lund, 7. Imanol Harinordoquy, 8. Raphael Lakafia,

Replacements: 16. Romain Terrain, 17. Sylvain Marconnet, 18. Alexandre Barozzi, 19. Manuel Carizza, 20. Benoit Guyot, 21. Damien Traille, 22. Arnaud Mignardi, 23. Ilikena Bolakoro,

    ULSTER:
    15. David McIlwaine, 14. Andrew Trimble, 13. Ian Whitten, 12. Paddy Wallace, 11. Simon Danielli, 10. Ian Humphreys, 9. Ruan Pienaar,
    1. Tom Court, 2. Rory Best, 3. BJ Botha, 4. Johann Muller, 5. Tim Barker, 6. Pedrie Wannenburg, 7. Stephen Ferris, 8. Robbie Diack,

Replacements: 16. Andy Kyriacou, 17. Paddy McAllister, 18. Bryan Young, 19. Dan Tuohy, 20. Chris Henry, 21. Paul Marshall, 22. Nevin Spence, 23. Adam D'Arcy,

Ferris returns to the Ulster side at openside.

Good luck to Ulster, they need at least a losing BP IMO.

I wonder what's going on with Dan Tuohy, he's still behind Barker. With the Ireland squad to be announced on Tuesday, Tuohy might not make it.

Good to see Nevin Spence on the bench.

On a light note, Biarritz's fullback once did this.

Would that be 3pm Irish time and 4pm in Biarritz, yeah? I don't want to turn it on, only to find it's already the second half :pac:

Yeah 3pm Irish time. Can't edit the thread title.

Touhy is behind Barker just as Ryan is behind MOD because although they are good broken field runners etc they still don't do the secondrow basics well enough.

Ulster to get nothing today I fear. Biarritz far to experienced to handing out losing BP's in what could be a tight finish for first place.

Terrible pity you can't do the 'Sky red button' deal on UPC. I really want to watch this match. :( Might see if I can dig out a stream somewhere.

Ulster starting well. Pienaar with kick at goal here.

    Missed it. :(

Pienaar taking kicks again. Should really be Wallace or Humphries.

Pienaar makes no mistake a second time from a similar position.

    Biarritz 0 - 3 Ulster, 13 minutes gone.

    Yes.

Haylett Petty with a horrendous kick on the full, under no pressure at all.

Still 0-3, Ulster coughed up the ball in the Biarritz 22 unfortunately there.

They're the better team at the moment.

    Great tap tackle.

Great stuff, Ulster with a 5m scrum after a hack at the ball in their own 22! :)

ah ffs chance butchered. Pienaar's pass looked telegraphed.

Would've been great if Ulster could've capitalised on the great follow up to get a try.

Penalty Biarritz, 3-3 after 35 minutes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,656 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Great block down Ulster, should've been a try. If only was a back who got hold of it.

Criminal! We have been in excellent scoring positions and we blown them. Good sides just don't do that. Frustrated as hell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,656 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Lets hope the defence holds up now so they don't regret the chances.

    Try Biarritz, 10-3

    35 - 8 FT

Actually, it was 35 - 15 at full time. Ferris scored after a quick tap and Pienaar just drop kicked the conversion so that Ulster could escape the pitch quickly. Don't blame them after that score :p

I didn't see the last part of the game and saw "35 - 8 FT" on BBC's score updates.
