    Hi guys

quick question. I am using avidemux to rotate a .mov video to the right, made with a panasonic lumix. When I am going to apply the video filter it tells me that the video must be transcoded. So my question is what format do I use that is still widely usable and the video doens't loose quality. I have chosen so far MPEG4-ASP avcodec, Xvid and Xvc but every time the resulting video was smaller and presumably of worse quality? Any pointers anyone? Thanks in advance
