Recommend a good Opel Mechanic

    Hi Folks,

    Wondering if anyone can recommend a good Opel Mechanic? I went out to one of the main Dublin Dealers, they wouldnt even look at the car without taking a charge (it's probably fair enough, but I wasnt happy with their service having used them previously). I would like to move to someone who knows the cars well and is reliable for servicing etc, any ideas?

    Have you tried Bolands in Clondalkin? I always use them for my Opel and find their work excellent and reasonably priced. Getting a full car service there for €170 next week.

    I made a few enquiries with a large Opel dealership recently on the Northside because I live closer to them -for the same full service they were quoting €200 and they also misinformed me that my car was fitted with a timing belt as opposed to a chain - I wasn't too impressed!

    bolands will only harge for diagnosis it the repair is not carried out by them - they will diagnose and quote for the repair and you can decide what to do after that - contact adam on 01-4593015 and he will look after you !
