My turtles nails are so long

My turtle leo has long nails on his front claws and can be seen to be trying to file em down in his tank off a plastic barrel, god help him. Is there anything i can get thatll help the guy out. Ive had him 2 years this month now

get a slate of granite for his tank.. this will wear this nails down i use it with my reps

Take him out in the yard for a while and let him have a dig. But make sure you keep an eye on him.
