Toyota often cover these on warranty even after 3 years. Know fault. Replacements allegedly suffer same. If you have to pay for some, get ones from the 06 facelift or spurious ones which have no such issues.

Try a local scrap yard for a used pair. Do a search on www.partfinder.ie. Just make sure they ain't broke either.

Trying to change a bulb? I had a similar model and changing a bulb was a nightmare especially on the driver's side where the windscreen washer resevoir is in the way. You need the hands of a child to get at the back of the headlamp. I broke one of them too but luckily there was a recall or something on the headlights due to moisture getting on the inside of the lense, Mr T replaced both of them under warranty. Poor design though.

Will do, was not expecting much from scrappies as lights are often first victim in a collision.

No, bought car privately during the summer...did not spot the fault until the evenings started getting darker. But yes, a bugger to change the bulbs.

    Thanks.

You would be surprised the amount of cars in a scrap yard that do have little or no damage to the headlight areas.

Last owner probably make a balls of changing a bulb and sold it on that way.
