Vibration alert with brand new laptop.

Just bought a brand new Toshiba 13.3 inch laptop. Turned it on and one of the first things it told me in a little pop-up window was:

"Vibration has been detected in the PC. The hard disk drive head is temporarily moved to a safe position."

Is this just standard procedure or should I look into returning it? It happens if I move it on my lap or sometimes it seems for no reason at all. If it happens when watching youtube it goes glitchy for a split second and then the notice comes up.

    What should I do??

    Stop moving the laptop. :)

There should be an option to disable it, or even reduce it's sensitivity. If you are using it on a solid surface (desk) then you should not really see that message. Toshibas though by default can be a but too over protective.

I just wanted to make sure that there was nothing loose or something, hence the constant messages. I'll just disable if its a case that Toshiba are just being anal ;)
