    Hi Guys,

I'm doing a project at the moment and need some help where could I get figures and info for the following if possible:

1- Number of housing units built in the last 10 years (Dublin market)
2- Have to do a graph on what the supply curve for housing in Ireland at the moment.
3- Decrease in supply in houses due to the following
    (a) Builders couldn't afford to finish projects.
    (b) Builders scrapped futures projects
    (c) Bankruptcy of developers
    (d) unable to sell housing units

Any info would be great help thanks very much.

As Anonymous said, the data here (23mb Excel file) should help. The sixth and seventh tabs contain statistics on housing completions going back to 1970. I believe there was a report by the regional planning department in DIT (or NUIM, I can't quite remember which) estimating the number of 'ghost estates' in Ireland.

The nuim report is available by googling 'nirsa working papers', the authors were Justin Gleeson and Rob Kitchin. They include the data with their paper (in excel) which was taken from geodirectory. You can get housing stock data through the cso interactive tables also, although i think ded's are as low as you can go.
