Expect to be hit hard for customs and if it's comming from the US (or most places outside Ireland), it will possibly probably be over the joule and destroyed if tested.

You will almost 100% be hit for customs import duty and VAT, and depending on who carries it in - you will possibly be hit with processing charges on top.

It's simply madness to try import such a widely available, relatively low'ish cost AEG.

You will effectively have no come-back/guarantee or back up from abroad, and if it does need a downgrade (and gets past customs), you will have to pay extra to get it done here.

Why not consider buying a good second hand one?

Strongly advise buying from a retailer in Ireland.;)

Shop around for the best price and availability. Best to go into the shops as opposed to looking online - ofter the guys have stuff on the shelves that might not be on the websites (and vice versa).

Great gun by the way. Best of luck. ;)

    I have a question regarding gr15 too:)
are there full metal versions of it or only plastic? can't find any full metal one's..

The full metal version would be a high-end G&G, and priced accordingly.
The plastic body G&G range is basically the budget range, but using the same gearboxes from the high-ends. If you wanted the same rifle with a metal body, you essentially just be buying a full-blood high-end rifle, so expect to pay anywhere from €50 to €150 more for it.
The detail would be better, and the metal parts would be of generally higher quality, but from five yards you wouldn't know the difference.

Also, there's no metal body "Raider" exactly, as that name is unique to the plastica range.* There are, however, plenty of metal body M4 carbines with a RIS, they just go by different names.

*Incorrect. I'd forgotten there was, of course, a metal Raider. Mea Culpa.

Or buy a metal body seperately and put it on yourself. DBoys bodies seem to be filtering in on some sites in small numbers. It's rare so you need to keep an eye out though.

I have a full metal raider that was got in Mid West Airsoft and it is the nicest M4 type AEG that I have ever handled
The feel and most important to me balance of it are second to non it just oozes quality
They are not currently shown on the MWA web site
They can also be got from those nice people in Eirsoft

Looks beautiful, want to get one full metal as I just don't feel it right to have a plastic aeg.:)

have the plastic one myself its actually very good quality plastic i wanted the metal one as well but the order went horribly wrong but i do plan on upgrading to a metal receiver in future internaly the plastic and metal versions are identical same gearbox motor etc

don't discount the plastic version its excellent quality and can always be upgraded to metal in the future if you want

You are, of course, right. There is a full metal Raider. It's been so long since I've seen one (and I've seen so many variants of the plastic Raider since then) that I'd completely forgotten about it.
My bad, it's hard enough to keep up with real variants of M4's, then add the various company product line versions, differing names and now differing body materials to the mix and you end up getting muddled now and then.
