i trained with Paulo Guimaraes at Roots bjj. He is an amazing instructor and good craic. They always win the comps in Sydney. They have a number of clubs around the city. Look them up. google roots bjj. If you go tell Paulo Pol said hi

Paulo trains out of the CBD and north sydney, there are 8 "roots" clubs around sydney

cheers Mellor iv googled a few and had a look i was hoping for some first hand info, places can look great on a website or paper and be full of dicks

Prob should have added Darlinghurst area, Sydney looks kinda big lol

I second boxing works.They do boxing,Muay thai and BJJ.The instructor there,a greek lad ,cant remember his name is a good coach.
Nice set up over there and sound bunch of peeps

I'm thinking of starting classes myself, problem being there isn't too many clubs near me at the minute, or at least I don't know of any.
Anybody know of any around the east of sydney (randwick/kingsford area)

No Mellor havent got to Oz yet still in Thailand but boxingworks is around the corner from where i will be staying so il leave an update as soon as i start training there

Doing any muay thai in thailand, or just the usual drinking whiskey buckets at full moon parties etc
