Are plane holds pressurised?

I'm in Japan at the moment and I want to bring back a couple of mineral cans for my nieces. I am travelling via Airbus A380 to Paris and then an RJ85 to Dublin. Would these burst midflight do you think? I'm especially worried about the RJ85 as it seems to be a smaller, older plane.

Also, I'm going to bring back about 4. They are all 100 ml I believe. I know they say you can bring liquids up to 100 ml onboard but would they have a problem do you think since there are 4 and that they are cans?

    Thanks for the thoughts folks

Yes, the hold is pressurized albeit not to the same pressure as the passenger cabin. I have transported cans of Guinness as presents before and nothing evil ever happened to them. I would say you will be fine.

Putting them into your carry-on would be tricky - you are allowed 100ml per item but also only 1l in total, in a 1l plastic bag. Cans are unwieldy and four will probably not fit into the bag.
