    Hi,

A few days back I tried to connect my iphone 3gs to another iphone but Bluetooth was unavailable. I taught nothing of it until I tried a few days later and it was still unavailable. Has anyone ever come across this and if so how do I solve it.

    Is the phone jailbroken?

Can you try a restore? If its not working after that it could be a hardware issue.

is bluetooth not disabled on iphones because of sharing music and the like.

Could be wrong but i thought a chap in the O2 store told me that when i bought from them.

iPhones won't pair with other phones for file sharing, but Bluetooth shouldn't be showing as Unavailable. On recent software even in Airplane mode you should be able to switch it on.

This happened a friend of mines 3gs as well, it was jailbroken. He restored and rejailbroke and the bluetooth then worked fine though he hasnt a clue why it happened, 1 minute it was working fine then all of a sudden bluetooth was unavailable.
