AIR VENT MISSING COVER

    ive recently moved into a new room in my house, ive noticed that were there used to be a vent cover i.e. the ones that can be slid across, there is nothing, just a hole about one foot long half a foot high, should i make it a proirity to buy a new vent cover? could i be puttung myself at health riska by not having one?

    Is this a vent to the outside wall letting in fresh air?. Is it a 4 inch circular vent?. You can buy vent covers for pence in any diy , or if its a circular one, u can get one with 2 clips that fit in......but a hole of a foot and half sounds a lot bigger than a wall vent..have u a pic?
