New EPG on small Pace box

    The old style small Pace box has been updated with a version of the new UPC EPG, looks way better than the old NTL 'purple' version even if the functionality remains a bit ropey.

    My old 'big' box has the updated EPG - looks nicer but is causing the STB to crash.

    My old 'small' box is still the old purple EPG - which at least lets you see the rolling text on various channels!

    15/10 Both boxes now have the new 'skinned' EPG

    Yeah, i noticed this also today.. No big complaints so far.. working smoothly and more informative.

    It looks like just a reskin, functionality seems identical (and still cuts over to that bloody City Channel when using the Browse function).
    The colours are easier on the eye, for sure.

    mine changed sometime today.
    With the old EPG the programs in "guide" used to never load, used to always say "gathering information" but it works perfect now.

    also on the old one i wasnt always able to go down when browsing, could only see the program thats on now and the one on next but it works proper now.

    I have the small pace box too and its just been upgraded to the new EPG

    I find it a little bit slower to respond that the old purple version. More of the guide info is working though, which is nice.

    Also in the hour all the stations are skipping and stuttering. Might just be a local issue

    Ill give it some time to "fix itself"

    I wonder if they'll upgrade the old Sagem boxes in Cork.

    They've a pretty basic EPG.

    They just updated the old boxes interface to look like the new big black PVR ones.
