OK - so big day looming, four weeks away.
I had planned on getting make up done in BT on the day, but after most recent trial... it was disastrous.
And also a wee bit stressful, having to get into town and back again... not as seamless as one would think.

So now I'm looking for someone to come to the house and do the makeup.
I'm not a girlie girl, don't want to be Plastered in the stuff. . . . BUT I do have bad skin (acne) so a good foundation is KEY.

ANYONE GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS - CHEAP n CHEEFUL for a make up artist in the next 4 weeks!!!!

    HEEEEEEELLlllllllllpppppppppppp

In what way was BT a disaster? They have great foundations in the MAC department and I got a perfect one for my skin tone when I dropped in.
Did you ask the girl to give you a natural look?
I was so happy with the way they did my makeup, I just got the products and replicated the look on the day myself. Turned out grand.

If you don't feel up to that, why not try someone like this.
    There's a list here also.
Have no clue what you would be charged for someone like that.

In particular I would have found the Bobbi Brown counter do a very natural look.

I just got married 3 weeks ago and I had a really nice girl do my make-up and the prices were good I thought (think it was €40 per person). My bridesmaid is very fussy re make-up and she loved her 'face'! pm if you want her details

The girl I got to do my makeup was brillaint, I really couldn't recommend her highly enough and she was great value for money. Like you I'm not very girly & didn't want to be plastered in the stuff, she did exactly what we asked of her, make up stayed on all day & everyone commented on how beautiful it was. PM me if you'd like her details
