Hello there, new here, and I don't know if there is another thread about this. If there is I apologise. Just wondering what is the best hotel to stay in in DLP?
We would be two adults two children with no transport of our own so would rely on transfers and shuttle buses. Thanks in advance. Hoping to go next Easter.

Also if there is a thread I am missing on this a link to it would be great.
    Thanks

    G

Worth checking out height limits for the children. Some rides you have to be over from memory 1.4m tall. There is a train station within DLP. Can't help with hotels, we stayed in Versaille and drove over both days.

The description "Paris" would be of the Ryanair type.

All hotels on the disney official website offer a free shuttle bus to the parks. I've stayed at Newport Bay Club (would be a 4 star over here and twice as expensive - has Disney entertainment all day), Radisson Blu Golf Hotel (great for adults very business-y, located on the Disney Golf Course, and the Val D'Europe hotel which is located one town over in Val D'Europe (connected to disney and Paris by train station - much cheaper than other hotels but basic inside).

Check out the kids go free offers, but I wouldn't advise going to the actual Disneyland Hotel (5*) or New York Hotel (4*) simply because the kids won't appreciate it until they are between 6-10yrs old. Hotel Cheyenne, Santa Fe, Newport Bay club are all walking distance to parks but others you need to get the shuttle.

Get the TGV from Charles de Gaulle to Disney. Its about 35 euro return per adult but cuts the journey time from a Metro into paris and out to Disney (about 60mins on stinky subway type train) to 9mins EXACTLY on a world class train. Well worth it.

Any other questions about it feel free to ask! I've gone as a child, teenager, and adult!

    :D

Cheers for that. Will probably have a few more questions when I get around to booking something. Good tip about the train, not easy travelling with young kids!

We have stayed in Disneyland Hotel, Newport Bay club and the Davy Crockett ranch and really at the end of the day its down to budget - if you are on a big budget go for the Disneyland hotel as it is right at the entrance to the park and you will be able to nip back on and off during the day for a break. Also within walking distance is the Newyork & Sequoia, the Newport Bay is also walkable but not if your kids are very young or tired. Also something to think about is the swimming pool, if you fancy a dip during your stay the two best pools are in Sequoia Lodge & Davy Crockett lodge with the next best being the Newport Bay club. We plan to stay in the Sequoia on our next visit !

to the other poster, re the time the bus from CDG takes depends on what hotel you are staying in, on our last visit it went to Disneyland hotel first, Newyork, Sequoia and then Newport Bay Club, but that may have changed since, but I would roughly say 30 mins.

You should also check out these hotels they are all beside each other and they also offer a free shuttle, they are about 3 mins from the park.

The only Disneyland Paris hotel that I've personally stayed in is the Cheyenne. We chose that one as our 2 children were a boy and a girl. The Cheyenne rooms have a double bed and a set of bunk beds, all of the other Disney hotels have 2 doubles. For that reason it suited us best as the kids didn't want to share a bed and they loved the bunk beds and the cowboy and indian theme :).
