    All covered to death in other threads.

    It's basically an HD & Widescreen replacement of Analogue, not a multichannel system like UK freeview or Freesat.

    TV3 isn't on it yet. RTE1, RTE2, TG4 and RTE News now + RTE DAD/Digital Radio.

    RTE2 first with part time HD and then migration of Main channels to HD only over next couple of years.

    There is no actual firm date for "Full Public Launch" or 2nd Multiplex live.
