October 22nd will see a quality techno line-up take Dublin by storm. We’ll be salivating for hours on the dancefloor in Kennedy’s as Oscar Mulero, Exium, Defekt and local talent Howie Miller take over the stage for our Bank Holiday this October.

Spanish techno icon and technical wizard Oscar Mulero (Warm Up Recordings, Zero Oscillator) started Djing in the mid eighties. His style has developed from gothic rock and EBM to harder darker beats analogous to Beltram, Surgeon and Ruskin. To this day he produces and remixes the cream of the techno crop. His more recent Zero Oscilaotr Parties with DJ Muerto are a perfect mix of new and traditional. It is no secret that Mulero is somewhat of an icon in the techno world. Expect it to be dark, expect it to be meaty and very, very precise.

Dynamic duo Exium, (Valentín Corujo and Héctor Sandoval) have come a long way since djing in local clubs in hometown Asturias, Spain in 19994. Their current mixing and producing of downtempo, electro peppered with pop, has resulted in the creation of two new labels FictionFilm and Suspiria Records. Exium’s most recent project is “Selección Natural” along with Christian Wünsch,Oscar Mulero and Reeko, featuring four releases on their labels Mental Disorder, Nheoma, Tsunami and Warm Up.

Synth master DeFekT aka Matthew Flanagan will be combing his love of synths, drum machines, and sci-fi to produce some serious sounds on the night.

Support comes from Surge’s very own Howie Miller.. Don’t miss this one as it’s sure to be a cracker of a filthy night out!
