JKL Street in Edenderry, probably one of Ireland's well known street names, but what does JKL stand for?
I've been searching for an answer to this one for a while, nobody I've asked seems to know what it stands for, even a workmate who lives in Edenderry!
Hopefully you guys will be able to help.

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~irlcar2/Doyle.htm it's a long shot, but as Edenderry is in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin I think there may be a connection to this Bishop.

    AFAIK, The Scawgeen is correct.
James, Kildare and Leighlin = J.K.L.

Thanks folks, would never have guessed that in a million years, I was thinking what great Irish patriots had the initials JKL! Oh, and thanks for the links explaining who James Warren Doyle was.
