Apple are holding a conference on the 20th,
Anyone any ideas what they'll be announcing?

Apple wants to talk about "what's new for the Mac," which could mean some hardware -- but the company definitely wants to talk software too. See that lion sneaking around behind the logo? Apple is bringing the media out to Cupertino to discuss (amongst other things) the next version of OS X. That's right -- a non-mobile product. If you think it's too early for 10.7, don't worry -- last time we did this dance, the company previewed Snow Leopard about a year before it hit your screens. The whole thing goes down at 10AM PT on October 20th

OMG, really!? does anyone know a release date for Ireland yet? I might book flights to Italy. Does anyone know if there's an unlock for iPhone 5? All the networks are so stupid they won't tell me anything I've called and emailed them all!!

i have it from a good source that it will be the "iphone 4GZ" not a iphone 5. my mate is married to a high ranking exec for o2 and he tells me that the new iphone which fixes the antenna issue and comes in a 128gb model will launch for the xmas rush :pac:
iphone dev team have posted on their twitter account that the iphone will be jailbreakable with their new redr1d1ngh00d release the day after launch :pac:
