best small car for 3000 cash

    looking for a small car for the wife no bigger than 1.4 l , have 3000 cash budget was thinking of 02 or 03 year
    1. Ford Fiesta
    2. Honda Jazz..
    3. Toyota Yaris
    4. Suzuki Ignis


    I deff wont go for anything italian or french built as looking for a reliable car

    Any suggestions

    I'd say you will find it hard to pick up a decent Honda Jazz for €3k. They are not that common and ain't going that cheap. €3k will probably get you a 03 newer shape Fiesta, make sure it is the 1.25 litre engine as opposed to the old 1.3 litre unit.

    For a Yaris, €3k will probably get you a high miler 03 or decent 02 model. Just avoid the base model as I think power steering wasn't standard on it at the time. I would not even consider the Suzuki Ignis, it is not even close to the others in this class, they are also terrible to drive and generally not a nice place to be in.

    I'd put the Hyundai Getz ahead of the Ignis, you should be able to pick up a 04 model for around €3k/3.5k.
