-sigh- I'm offline player of games and a bit of a dope when it comes to online gaming stuff but with all the DLC that comes out these days I've decided that I should probably get into all this online stuff.
But the thing is, I haven't the first idea of how to go about it.
So would any of you fine internet folk give me some advice on where to start? Stuff like best provider, and any other helpful bits?
Any help is much appreciated, cheers :)

I would advise against Irish Broadband, was with them and kept getting dropped connection.

I'm with UPC now, 30MB and it be sweet. We usually have 2 laptops, an xbox and a PS3 running at the same time all wireless with no issues.

If you plan on only using it for gaming and normal internet usage, ie you tube and browsing then 3M broadand will be plenty.
If you are going to have some PCs and a couple of consoles on at the same time, then get as high a speed as you can afford.
