While on legal aid If you were found guilty in a district court and you are appealing the decision to a circuit court, Are you entitled to legal aid or are you liable for the barister fees, etc or how does it work?

    Thanks in advance

you dont need legal representation for an appeal (although it is advised)

however - I would guess that if you have been approved for legal aid then it was only available to you for the original hearing .... and any appeals would have to be self-funded. (I could be wrong)

    Same rules as district court,

you can apply for it, whether you get it depends on your means and whether you are in jeopardy of a custodial sentence.

If you got it in the District Court you will have legal aid for the appeal
