    I'm not too sure about Ableton, but you won't be able to run the latest version of Photoshop on that machine as it requires an Intel processor. Only Photoshop CS4 and earlier will work with a PPC Mac. And I don't think Apple are supporting Logic Pro on PPC anymore, either.

    Other than that, it would be a very good machine. You might want to bump the RAM though - shouldn't cost too much.

    Thanks for the reply! I've read hat Logic will still work on ppcs, just can be prone to the odd crash here or there. Can I ask how much extra ram costs, and would I be able to install myself?
