Which Gaeltacht?

Hi, I want my son to learn and love Irish but to have fun too(can you do both) so I am between Colaiste Chamuis, Colaiste Lurgan, Colaiste Shoesaimh or Colaiste Chiarain. This is a big deal (cost etc) so I would really appreciate any help from anyone. Spleodar is already full for June, which is when I want to send him. Please if you have comments let me know. Thanks.

from personal experience i would say stay away from the Spleodar ones. They have too much emphasis on the irish lang to the point that if your a poorer speaker you are left feeling isolated and lonely for the 3 weeks. Hell to a poorer student to be honest but I know stronger speakers love the place.
They were so strict that they actually sent home 2 girls the very last night of the 3 weeks for speaking English. They had to get a train back to dublin on a Sat night even though they were due to get the bus back the next morning with every body else.
