Anyone know if the Motor Tax office can check Toll/eflow records?

The Garda might, never heard of Revenue doing it though.

No only eflow have access to the information. Its like with the Tax Office, Eflow only have access to view it and not edit it. All info with eflow is very secure from what i have been told

If they think they've seen your car driving around, they'll look further in to it.

Declaring your car was off the road to avoid any road tax arrears?

Well enough mistakes have been made in regards to the M50 toll so I don't see why they are allowed hide the info.

The Data Protection Act allows for data to be shared for a variety of reasons including where
    (c) the processing is necessary -

    (i) for the administration of justice,
(ii) for the performance of a function conferred on a person by or under an enactment,
(iii) for the performance of a function of the Government or a Minister of the Government,
(iv) for the performance of any other function of a public nature performed in the public interest by a person,
    (http://www.dataprotection.ie/viewdoc.asp?DocID=796&ad=1#4 , sect 2A)

I've no idea how much, if any, data is actually shared but the Act seems to allow for it so it is conceivable that E-flow data could be used, at least in the future.
