Tax back question

    K at the minute i am waiting to get my tax back but just wondering how much will i get back. Here is a list of all the taxes to date
    Cum tax is 672 Prsi ee 9.22 prsi er 261 income levy 18

    Is it the figure in the cum tax that i get back and i also have medical card so will me sending that to my employer as i was told to do in the tax office get me anything else back ?????
    Any help here would be greatly appreciated as i am very confused .

    Without additional information it is not possible to give you an answer.

    You would need to provide details of your total income, deductions from income (such as medical expenses you had to pay yourself or pension premia you paid from your salary), your tax credits, cut-off point and whether the medical card is a full card or a GP only card. Then someone might be able to give you an idea of how much might be refunded.

    Re your questions: the cum tax value is the total tax amount you are liable for since Jan 1. I can't say whether it's before or after allowance for tax credits but it's probably the amount after tax credits i.e. it's the amount you've paid on your earnings to date. If you think you are due to get all of your tax back then that amount is the likely refund. Additionally, if you hold a full medical card you can get the income levy back but I think this is done after December. You would also be exempt from the Health Levy (if you are paying it- it's not mentioned in the list above) if you hold a full medical card.
