    Hey!!

Just looking for advice, if a friend invites you to a wedding as their "plus 1" do you split the cost of the gift or is it for the person who was actually invited to sort it out? I dont really know the couple getting married.????

I think your friend should pay for the gift, you are going as a favour to him/her I'm guessing. Have they asked you to pay for half?

Nope, you do not pay for the gift if you are a +1. Unless you know the couple, then you shouldn't buy them a gift.

i wouldn't expect a +1 to pay towards the gift, they have the invite you are just their guest!
