ok.... so when we first started does anyone remember the name of that sample pack of tablets that help promote brain function and concentration? we were given them in our bag of freebies on orientation week but I threw the packet out so can't remember the name but they really help.... especially as most of my brain cells are dead by now with all the alcohol consumption :p:rolleyes:

Drinking plenty of water and sleeping will help with that :p No need for what's more than likely just a placebo

(Though I've no idea what you are talking about)

Water, sleep and coffee. That's all you need, and you know what's in them

Do not take that **** on an empty stomach and a can of lucozade, or you will run out of your Discrete Structures tutorial to throw up.

Not that I'd know or anything.

A healthy diet, 8-10 hours sleep a night & plenty of exercise is all you need for good brain functioning. Taking tablets (however supposedly safe) is bad news. Can't believe ye guys got brain functioning tablets in your orientation packs...weird.

I'm a great believer in better living through chemistry, but I don't condone placebo's being passed around.

When I was in first year we got pills that claimed to prevent hangovers.... and I've failed to see those pills succeed commercially or in the claimed benefits.

Academic Doping? Really? In the fresher's bags? This is the culture they promote?
