Wrong date on Accident claim form

I was sent out a claim form for an accident I was in almost a year ago.

On the form I was asked to fill it out in respect to the accident on the above date. When I looked at the above date the date printed was two months prior to the actual accident.

Does this mean the claim can be voided? Can they re send it with the date corrected?

    Any and all help apreciated

    frAg

Who are you sending the Claim to ? PIAB ? If so ring them and explain what happened.

the form was sent to me from my insurance company with the wrong date of the accident on it. The date printed was two months previous to when the accident happened. its the usual accident form asking general question re amount of passengers, injuries sustained, where the vehicle was damaged etc??

Ring them and tell them the date is wrong. They'll probably tell you to write the correct date on it.

you see im as the guy is claiming against me(although whose fault it is is yet to be est) i am hoping that as he told them the wrong date of the accident that maybe it would void his claim?

I'm honestly not very clear on what your position is and you would be better off going to a solicitor.

If it is just from your insurance company it is an administrative thing only. They make these mistakes all the time.
