    Hi,
I flew from Sydney to london on a quantus A380. very nice experience. It seemed to be a tad quieter than the likes of a 747. The entertainment system was fantastic, very large screen and hundreds of movies. Another nice touch was the USB connector on the arm rest to keep the iPhone/pod charged. Bear in mind it has a greater passenger capacity so it might take a little longer to board/alight etc.

    DT..

Because it's a long flight and comfort is a priority I would imagine. If it was me I would want to know as well.

I have flown from Sydney to Los Angeles aboard the A380 with Qantas and it is a massively superior aircraft making the 14.5 hour flight across the International Date Line a breeze and I landed before I took off in time and date terms and travelled "back in time" which are the only flight that allows you to do this since Concorde was withdrawn.

The size is huge and as a result boarding and deboarding is a slow enough process. The VOD entertainment with Qantas is brilliant and there is loads of films, documentaries and tv series to watch, having spent 52 hours flying around the world this summer primarily with Qantas I watched a load of stuff on their inflight entertainment which is miles ahead of the British Airways 747 service.

The seats have a great pitch and recline back further than normal seats, the USB is great for charging and there is also an Australian plug provided to charge the laptop etc. The plane is incredibly quite compared to the 747 and next time I fly long haul I will pick the A380 over cost anyday.

Another cool feature in the A380 is there is a tail camera which allows you to watch the takeoff (but not the Landing) and all the flight (just boring clouds!) on the screen infront of you. I'm not sure if this feature is Qantas specific but i'm sure it is on all A380's to help the crew park it as it is so huge.
