    Hi there,

hope it is the section in the forum.
I bought a 02 broadband stick which didn't work on the Aran Islands.
I was told that three would work. The stick is E1752C
I bought a Three Broadband SIM only which I sticked in the stick, I installed MWConn and selected three in the list of the provider so that the right APN was provided.
When trying to connect, it didn't work I think the mistake "680" was displayed. I didn't top up yet but the my3.three.ie should work nonetheless?
Do you have any suggestions what I could do? Maybe getting the three software on the stick from somewhere?

The modem will be locked to O2, and you can't use a Three SIM in it without unlocking the modem.

All operators be it modems or phones lock the device to their network. Phone can be unlocked after a certain amount of credit is bought or in the case of bill pay it can be unlocked (I think) after the contract is up.
