What do all you stylish people carry your laptops in?

I invested in a Mac a while back and love it to death! It's so sleek and perfect! I am now looking for a bag or case to put it into. I am unsure whether to just buy a sleeve and pop it into a bag or buy a bag designed for my laptop. I was thinking along the lines of these

I have looked around a small bit and not really found something I love. So any suggestions? :)

I keep mine in a large leather handbag. Its easy to carry, and it keeps it in pretty good condition! I got it in TK MAX.

Don't know what your budget is but Net-A-Porter are doing cute ones by Marc Jacobs.

    Otherwise +1 on TK Maxx.

Those sleeves and handbags are gorgeous. My best friend has a mac but as a result of it being white she got a little pink plastic pop on cover for it! just covers the top of it. She also got a pink plastic keyboard cover for it!

She keeps hers in her handbag, she's a fan of big handbags! :)

Thank you so much for all your replies!!

I love the laptop bags but I think maybe a sleeve is the more sensible option as it will go into a handbag, I am a fan of large handbags.

I had a look in TK Maxx today and they had nothing nice at all. Checked out Currys/ Pc World, they had loads but some were very expensive and didn't seem very protective! My laptop is like my child! :o

I might get one of these:

    H1780?wid=326&hei=326&fmt=jpeg&qlt=95&op_sharpen=0&resMode=bicub&op_usm=0.5,0.5,0,0&iccEmbed=0&layer=compH1780_AV3?wid=326&hei=326&fmt=jpeg&qlt=95&op_sharpen=0&resMode=bicub&op_usm=0.5,0.5,0,0&iccEmbed=0&layer=compH1780_AV4?wid=326&hei=326&fmt=jpeg&qlt=95&op_sharpen=0&resMode=bicub&op_usm=0.5,0.5,0,0&iccEmbed=0&layer=comp

My friend has a Mac and highly recommends them. They are €39.95. They are made for Mac and he said fit them perfectly! It is like fleece inside and they are very snug as they are made to fit :D

I can't seem to find the pink one on the Irish site only US. Hmmm maybe the black or grey might be better

Now to find a big nice college handbag to put it into!!! :D

    I got mine at http://www.olliepops.com

They have tons of really cool laptop cases in all different designs and sizes.

You can pay by paypal too which is great. Free shipping to Ireland.

Most of their laptop bags are around 28euros.

Edit: I want to add that while the sleeves are really neat looking, there's just no room for your lead/plug, so I decided on a laptop bag instead. :)

I really like that hot pink sleeve, Jwacqui! €40 doesn't seem too bad a price for it, either - not when you think that it's protecting your lovely, shiny Mac!

SkinnyP that bag is SUPER CUTE!! Where is there a paper chase in dublin? Is there one in town? I vaguely remember somebody sating arrnotts before?

Yeah, Hermione I think I might go with that! It's like my baby! I want to make sure its safe and cosy!! :o I'm afraid of it getting damaged! :o

Oh, I love that pink laptop sleeve. I want one now! I got one in Topshop and it's cute and all, but now you have me worried that it's not 'safe' enough! :pac: My Mac is my baby too!

Oh, and there's a Paper Chase in Arnotts, yup. :)

The incase ones are deadly, I got a plain black one about 3 years ago and it's still perfect and it gets a lot of use! It's really sleek so doesn't add much to the size/weight of your laptop when your putting it into your handbag.

I kinda want to get a pretty one now though:o

Yeah I think I might get one as it can be thrown into a handbag and I can keep it in that in my bedroom. I'm so bad though and can never decide on anything! Spent ages today drooling over bags/ sleeves online!! :o

Yep, its very well made, its padded, not overly so, but feels like the right amount of protection without being too bulky
