    Hi all

    Looking for some advice!

My little brother wants Adidas F50 boots for Xmass, and I am trying to make sense of them! He has picked the colour he wants, mainly black with yellow stripes, and have found plenty of website to buy them.

What I don't get is the difference between them all!

There are boots that are called F10s which are pretty reasonably priced, to me they look the exact same as the others, they have F50 printed on them etc. They are about £30

Then there are ones called F30s, again look the same to me, about £40.

Then there are three different kinds of F50 boots, priced from £80 to about £125.

For info this is the site I am looking at

My bro (10) is MAD to get these boots, he can tell you which ones every player wears - So what is the difference in them?

    Thanks in advance!

i have the top F50s and i dont love them, there ok on comfort but i find them hard to keep control of the ball, now they look cool which may boost moral but id nxt time walk into the shop and buy the addidas predators much better boot but until then il get my money worth out of the F50s

The easy answer is, it is all about quality. The top of the range ones will be made from the best materials, with the best design and so on.
If he is only 10 then paying over 100 quid for a pair of boots is a waste of time imo. Saying that as well though the bottom of the range boots tend to be poor and not very durable. If your bro is like most 10yr olds though he will know the difference straight away so dont even try fobbing him off with cheaper ones and telling him they are the top ones.
Have to agree with the poster above though that predators would be a much better choice of boot but what can you do with young lads!

    a pair of puma kings - can't beat them:pac::D...
but seriously chances are he only wants the f50s so he can go to his friends and show off with them...

we were all the same when we were young in fairness

I dount there's too much difference in the different boots tbh and expecially if he's still young it's silly considering spending a huge amount of boots he'll have outgrown in 6 months..

try and do your best to talk him into the f10s because the difference in the boots won't be anything like the difference in price

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate the advice

I have to agree that I don't think there is much point in buying him mad expensive boots when he is going to grow out of them so quickly. At the moment shoes and boots dont even last him a year, so would end up buying another pair within a year.

I am afraid though that he is going to know the difference between them, and will know if I fob him off with the F10s! Going to talk to him at weekend to see if I can get away with it!

Have read a good few things online to say that they aren't the greatest boots to buy and there are plenty of better boots out there. But at 10 it is all about what the rest of the lads have, and any other boot just wont be considered! He can literally tell him every single football player that is wearing F50s and he has his heart set on them!

At the moment he has the Predators which he loves, and they have lasted him really well as he has been wearing them almost every day for months!
