Tesco wilton, about 2 hours ago. prestige and calvet - bordeaux 2008.

Half price at 6 euro but scanned & paid for at 6.99.

Returned with receipt got 7 euro back and kept the bottle.

its probably rectified in wilton but id imagine its not just in this store.

This part of Tesco's price promise? You get over charged and they refund all your money, and you keep the product. Some stores will deny that policy, so just be careful.

It's applicable to ALL Tesco's so don't let any branch say otherwise.

Its the no quibble policy, rather then price promise but means the same thing.
    No Quibble Policy - link

Our "No Quibble Policy" is our way of showing customers that we always charge the right prices in our stores. It states that: "in the unlikely event of you being charged a price at the checkouts that is higher that the price mounted on the display, we will give you that item absolutely free and without quibble".

You should pay for the item(s!) and then complain at the desk. If you say it at the checkout you usually will not get it, they correct it there or call a manager and then as you have not been charged.
