TV3 issues from Truskmore

    Is anyone having TV3 issues from Tx sites other than Truskmore?

    The problem is (analogue) TV3 channel is pixellating a lot, with sporadic AV dropouts.

    I'm assuming the incoming digital feed is weak or something, though curious to see if it's been noticed elsewhere in the country.

    Of course, I guess many of you don't watch TV3 (I sure can't at home due to ghosting from nearby pesky hills), though notice it when out on calls.

    yeah noticed it on TV3 while settting up a TV in customers house, don't know if the other stations are affected as we only use Trusky for TV3 as its not carried on our local transposer Arrain Mhor, (which is still using satellite feeds since the Truskmore mast upgrade, (emailed them a few times and got no reply)

    I've seen some issues with Cairn Hill, particularly with AV dropouts in the past few weeks. Check out the Cairn Hill thread. I only use Cairn Hill for TV3 and TG4 as a loft VHF aerial takes care of Kippure for me.

    I was watching TV3 this afternoon at about 5:30pm (which I get from Holywell Hill) and also noticed the AV noise and brief dropouts. I didn't know whether it was due to the high pressure or a problem with the TV station itself.

    (at 10pm, it's breaking up REALLY badly now - totally unwatchable)
