    Hi all,

im not sure im posting in the right area but i'll give it a go and seewhat happens. Well as the title suggests im having a strange taste and slight smell from my mouth. I have an appointment in a few days but im a bit concerned after some of the research i have been doing.

All sorts has come up like, brain tumors, mouth cancer etc. Im probably worried over nothing but what the hell is causing it? I have had it for 4 days now.

Its the strangest thing, its like my tongue has a coating on it, as does the back of my throat and my saliva feels odd. Thicker than usual. At first i thought it was dehydration because i hadn't been drinking much water but after 4 days of mowing the stuff into me its still the same.

Then i wonder is it my teeth thats the problem. I do have a wisdom tooth that is decaying. It needs to be pulled pronto so i have an appointment with the dentist next week.

I don't know. Has anyone ever felt the same sort of symptoms before?

I'm trying not to turn into a hypochondriac!!

    Cheers:(

Asking randomers on the net is not the way to go about figuring it out. Save your Qs for your GP who will hopefully get the ball rolling on investigations,if required.
